- 1 1/2 c whole wheat flour
- 1/2 c oats
- 1 t baking powder
- 1 egg white
- 1/2 t baking soda
- 1 c unbleached flour
- 1/2 c brown sugar
- 1 3/4 c low-fat buttermilk
- 1 T orange peel
Directions

1Combine all ingredients, blend very well.

2Let sit for 15 minutes.

3Put in a greased 9 x 13 pan.

4Bake at 350 F for 50-60 minutes.

5Check for browning.

6This bread may need to be covered with foil the last 15 minutes to prevent over-browning.
