Ingredients

  • 3/4 c. maple syrup
  • 1/3 c. oil (Puritan or canola)
  • 1 1/4 c. water
  • 2 1/2 c. bread flour
  • 2 pkg. dry yeast
  • 1 1/4 tsp. cinnamon
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 1/2 to 3 c. whole wheat flour
  • 1 tsp. No-Salt
  • 1/2 c. quartered maraschino cherries
  • 1 c. golden raisins
  • 1 good Tbsp. oleo

Directions

    In saucepan, heat first 3 ingredients until lukewarm, 120° to 125°.

    In large bowl, blend flour (white), yeast, salt and cinnamon.

    Add eggs and warm liquid.

    Beat 2 minutes with electric beater.

    Stir in whole wheat flour, raisins and cherries.
