- 2 1/2 c. all-purpose flour
- 2 c. milk
- 3 Tbsp. butter
- 2 eggs
- 1/2 to 1 c. all-purpose flour
- 2 pkg. dry yeast
- 1/2 c. sugar
- 1 Tbsp. salt
- 3 1/2 c. whole wheat flour
Directions

1Combine 2 1/2 cups all-purpose flour and yeast in large mixing bowl.

2Heat milk, sugar, butter and salt in saucepan until warm; stir into yeast mixture.

3Add eggs.

4Beat at low speed for 30 seconds.

5Beat at high speed for 3 minutes.

6Stir in whole wheat flour and as much remaining all-purpose flour as possible.

7Knead on floured surface for 5 to 8 minutes or until smooth and elastic. Place in greased bowl, turning to grease surface.

8Let rise, covered, for 1 1/2 hours or until doubled in bulk.

9Punch dough down.

10Let rest, covered, for 10 minutes.

11Shape into rolls on baking sheet.

12Let rise, covered, for 45 minutes.

13Bake at 400° for 15 to 20 minutes.

14Yields 2 to 3 dozen.
