- 1 1/2 to 2 lb. chuck beef
- 3 c. water
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1/8 tsp. pepper
- dash of Tabasco
- 1 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
- 4 large white potatoes
- 4 whole small onions
- 3 large carrots
- 1 tsp. beef bouillon concentrate or 2 cubes
Directions

1Cut beef into cubes, 1 to 2-inches across.

2In a pressure-cooker or a sizable pot that can be closely covered, put the water, salt, pepper, Tabasco, Worcestershire sauce and beef bouillon.

3Bring to boil; add meat and boil over medium-high heat until tender.

4Add potatoes, onions and carrots.

5Cook until tender.

6Serve with buttered bread or biscuits.
