  • 1 medium onion, cut fine
  • 1 lb. sausage meat
  • 1 c. mushrooms
  • 2 c. cooked wild rice
  • 1 c. flour
  • 1/2 c. cream
  • 2 1/2 c. chicken broth
  • monosodium glutamate
  • slivered, toasted and blanched almonds

Directions

    Saute onion and sausage; drain fat.

    Add mushrooms, cut fine. Cook to blend.

    Add wild rice.

    Make white sauce of flour, cream and chicken broth.

    Mix these and combine with sausage and mushrooms.

    Accent with monosodium glutamate.

    Bake at 350° for 30 minutes.

    Serve with almonds on top.
