- 4 slices bacon, cut into 1-inch pieces
- 1 c. onion, chopped
- 1 c. celery, chopped
- 1/2 lb. mushrooms, sliced
- 1 (4 oz.) pkg. wild rice, cooked
- 2 c. bread crumbs
- 1/2 lb. turkey breakfast sausage, cooked
- 1 tsp. dried oregano
- 1/2 tsp. dried sage
- salt and pepper
Directions

1In medium-sized skillet, over

2medium heat, saute bacon until almost crisp; add onion, celery and mushrooms.

3Continue cooking until vegetables are tender.

4In a large bowl, combine bacon mixture, wild rice, bread crumbs, sausage, oregano and sage. Season to taste with salt and pepper.

5Spoon into lightly greased 2-quart casserole dish.

6Bake, covered, at 325° for 35 to 40 minutes.
