  • 1 pkg. yellow cake mix
  • 1 pkg. instant vanilla pudding
  • 1 tsp. nutmeg
  • 4 eggs
  • 3/4 c. Wesson oil
  • 3/4 c. straight sherry
  • powdered sugar

Directions

    Combine cake mix, pudding and nutmeg.

    Add remaining ingredients.

    Mix 5 minutes.

    Bake in angel food cake pan for 45 to 55 minutes at 350°.

    Cool in pan 25 minutes.

    Invert, remove and sprinkle with powdered sugar.

    Add poppy seed if desired for cake.
