  • 2 envelopes gelatin
  • 2 cups water
  • 1 cup wine (Port)-buy at least a mid priced bottle of Port
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 lemon (juice)
  • whipped cream
  • sugar, to taste

Directions

    1. Soak gelatin in 1 cup cold water.

    2. Dissolve sugar & soaked gelatin in 1 cup boiling water.

    3. Add wine & lemon juice.

    4. Strain into molds, sherbert glasses, or large serving bowl & refrigerate

    until firm.

    5. Serve with sweetened whipped cream.
