Wine Simmered Beef with Ginger and Brown Sugar

- 160 grams Thinly sliced beef
- 1 piece Ginger
- 100 ml Red wine
- 20 grams Brown sugar
- 1 1/2 tbsp Soy sauce
- 1 dash, (to taste) Black pepper
- 5 green beans Accompaniments
Directions

1Put the red wine, brown sugar and soy sauce in a pan and bring to a boil.

2Thinly slice a piece of ginger.

3Add the ginger and the beef to the pan, and simmer over high heat for about 30 seconds.

4Take the beef out of the pan.

5Simmer the sauce to reduce it.

6Return the beef to the pan, and simmer until there's just a little sauce left in the pan.

7Transfer to serving plates and garnish with something green.

8(Sprinkle on some black pepper to taste.)
