Wisconsin Beer Brats

- Wisconsin bratwurst
- Wisconsin beer (preferably cheap stuff)
- strong onion or 2
- horseradish/mustard
- ketchup
Directions

1Put brats and 1/2 to 1 whole sliced onion in large kettle, cover with beer, 2 to 3 cans.

2Boil 30 to 40 minutes until brats turn a sort of white.

3Let sit in kettle for a minute or two.

4Take kettle to hot charcoal grill and put brats on grill.

5As they brown, take them off and put them back in the beer and onion sauce. Serve from kettle on hot dog buns with horseradish mustard and the works and the rest of the beer.

6Great for summertime cookout.
