  • 1 Tbsp. oil
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 onion, minced
  • 1 lb. ground beef
  • m.s.g., salt, pepper and soy sauce to taste
  • 1 carrot, thinly shredded
  • 1/2 cabbage, thinly shredded
  • bean sprouts, string beans, potato (optional)
  • Wmpia wrappers

Directions

    Heat oil in saucepan.

    Saute garlic and onion.

    Stir in ground beef and seasonings.

    Brown well.

    Fold in vegetables.

    Cook until half done.

    Strain in colander and cool.

    Put 1 to 2 tablespoons of filling in center of wrapper.

    Fold edge of wrappers over filling.

    Wrap like envelope.

    Moisten edge with water to hold it together.

    Heat oil to 375°.

    Fry until lightly browned.
