  • 1 3/4 c. sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 1/2 c. cocoa
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 2 c. flour
  • 1 tsp. soda
  • 1/2 c. sour cream
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1 c. hot coffee

Directions

    Cream shortening and sugar; add eggs and mix well.

    Add sour cream alternately with dry ingredients.

    Add vanilla and coffee. Grease and flour 9 x 14-inch pan; pour in batter and bake at 350° for 35 minutes.
