- 1 (46 ounce) jar dill pickles, plain NOT KOSHER
- 3 cups sugar
- 1 cup vinegar
- 12 whole cloves
- 2 bay leaves
Directions

1Drain juice from pickles,discard.

2Rinse pickles well, and cut into 1/2 inch cubes.

3Place back into jar.

4Bring sugar, vinegar, cloves and bay leaves to a boil in med.

5saucepan.

6Pour over cubed pickles.

7Place lid back on.

8Let stand for 24 hours in the boiled liquid.

9Pour liquid into saucepan and bring to a boil for the second time.

10Pour back into jar, covering the cubed pickles.

11Cool, then store in refrigerator.

12Note: time doesn't include standing time.
