Wrapped Chicken Breasts

  • 4 oz. dried beef
  • 5 chicken breasts, boned and halved
  • 10 slices thick, lean bacon
  • 1 c. sour cream
  • 1 c. mushroom soup
  • 1/2 c. sliced mushrooms

Directions

    Soak dried beef in water 15 minutes if it came in a jar. Arrange beef slices on bottom of a 13 x 9-inch baking dish.

    Wrap each chicken breast half in a slice of bacon; place over dried beef.

    Combine sour cream, mushroom soup and sliced mushrooms; pour over wrapped chicken.

    Cover and bake at 350° for 1 1/2 to 2 hours; uncover during last 1/2 hour of baking time.

    Serve hot with rice or noodles.
