- 10 frankfurters
- 2 c. Bisquick baking mix
- 1/2 c. water
- vegetable oil
Directions

1Pat frankfurters dry.

2Mix baking mix and water until soft dough forms; beat vigorously 20 strokes.

3Divide dough into 10 equal parts.

4Pat 1 part dough around each frankfurter with fingers floured with baking mix, completely covering frankfurter.

5(At this point, wrapped franks can be covered and refrigerated up to 24 hours.)

6Brush cooking grill with oil.

7Grill frankfurters about 4 inches from hot coals, turning frequently until brown, about 15 minutes.

8Serves 5.
