- 2 pkg. dry yeast
- 1/2 c. lukewarm water
- 6 c. flour
- 1 Tbsp. baking powder
- 1 tsp. salt
- 2 Tbsp. sugar
- 1 1/2 c. shortening
- 1 c. milk
- melted butter
Directions

1Dissolve yeast in lukewarm water.

2Sift dry ingredients together.

3Mix in shortening.

4Add milk and yeast.

5Roll out on floured surface; cut.

6Dip in butter.

7Place on greased baking pan.

8Let rise for about 30 minutes.
