  • 1/2 c. lukewarm water
  • 6 c. flour
  • 1 Tbsp. baking powder
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 2 Tbsp. sugar
  • 1 1/2 c. shortening
  • 1 c. milk
  • melted butter

    Dissolve yeast in lukewarm water.

    Sift dry ingredients together.

    Mix in shortening.

    Add milk and yeast.

    Roll out on floured surface; cut.
