  • 2 pkg. yeast
  • 3/4 c. warm water
  • 2 sticks margarine
  • 2 c. buttermilk
  • 2 Tbsp. sugar
  • 6 c. self-rising flour

Directions

    In a cup, place the yeast and warm water. Set aside.

    Then in a large bowl, mix margarine, buttermilk and sugar.

    Slowly add the yeast and water. Stir, then add the flour.

    Form into a ball after kneading it for about 5 minutes.

    Place somewhere warm and let set for it to rise. Cut into your biscuits and bake in a 450° oven for at least 10 minutes or until a golden brown.
