- 2 eggs
- 2 pkg. dry yeast
- 1 c. sugar
- 1 c. Crisco
- 1 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1 c. boiling water
- 6 c. plain flour (all-purpose)
- 1 c. warm water
- 1 1/2 tsp. salt
Directions

1Beat eggs well.

2Add dry yeast (dissolved in 1 cup warm water).

3Mix well.

4Add sugar, Crisco and salt.

5Mash together well.

6Add boiling water; mix this.

7Add flour and mix well. Place in pre-oiled large bowl.

8Let rise 3 hours.

9Knead real stiff on floured board.

10Roll out to 1/2-inch thickness.

11Let rise for 1 hour.

12Place on cookie sheet and bake at 350° for 10 to 12 minutes, until light brown.
