  • 2 pkg. yeast or 2 cakes
  • 1/2 c. warm water
  • 1/3 c. sugar
  • 7 c. self-rising flour
  • 3/4 c. shortening
  • 3 c. sour milk (may take more or less)

Directions

    Mix together yeast, warm water and sugar.

    Let set awhile. Mix all ingredients together and knead well.

    Store in refrigerator.

    Roll out amount needed.

    Bake at 425° until brown.
