- 2 c. warm water (warm to fingers)
- 1 pkg. yeast + 1 tsp. yeast
- 3 Tbsp. sugar
- 2 tsp. salt
- 1 c. Crisco
- 7 to 8 c. plain flour
Directions

1In a warm bowl, add yeast, water, sugar, salt and Crisco. With your hand, mix a small amount of flour to yeast mixture.

2Add flour until you have a soft dough.

3Knead in bowl 50 times.

4Let rise double.

5Punch down.

6Put on dough board.

7Pat out with your hand or roll out and cut.

8Put melted butter on each biscuit and fold over.

9Place on a greased pan and bake at 400° until done.
