Ingredients
- 2 pkg. dry yeast
- 1 Tbsp. sugar
- 1 c. warm water
- 1 egg
- 3/4 c. sugar
- 1/2 c. melted butter or margarine
- 2 tsp. salt
- 2 c. warm milk
Directions

1Stir together the first 3 ingredients and set aside.

2In big bowl, beat egg, sugar, butter, salt and milk.

3Mix well and add first mixture to the second.

4Beat.

5Add flour and stir with a wooden spoon.

6Add enough flour so the dough won't stick to your hands.

7Turn out on floured surface and knead well, about 8 to 10 minutes.

8Put in buttered bowl and let rise.

9Put in pans and let rise again.

10Bake in a 400° oven for 10 minutes, then turn oven down to 350° for 20 minutes.

11Makes 18 rolls or 2 (16 ounce) loaves.
