Yeast Pancakes

Ingredients

  • 2/3 c. water
  • 1 c. milk
  • 1 pkg. yeast (RapidRise)
  • 1 egg (at room temperature)
  • 2 c. Bisquick (regular or lite)

Directions

    Heat water and milk to almost boiling in large bowl.

    (I do this in the microwave.)

    Sprinkle yeast on top of hot liquid.
  4. 4
    Let sit 5 minutes; stir gently.

    Add egg (I run hot water on it to warm it up).

    Beat.

    Add Bisquick; beat well.

    Let bowl sit for 30 minutes in a warm place.

    Mixture will look lumpy and bubbly. Pour in hot oiled skillet and fix like other pancakes.
