- 1 pkg. yeast
- 1/3 c. sugar
- 3/4 tsp. salt
- 1 1/2 c. warm water
- 2 Tbsp. shortening (Crisco)
Directions

1Mix sugar, salt and shortening.

2Pour hot water over this; let cool to lukewarm.

3Sprinkle yeast on top; let stand 10 minutes, then add flour to make stiff dough.

4Let stand until it is double in bulk.

5Take out the amount you want to cook.

6Roll out; put in pan.

7Let rise until double in bulk.

8Cook at 425° until done. Store the rest in refrigerator.

9It will keep 4 or 5 days.
