- 1 qt. warm water
- 7 c. plain flour
- 1 c. Wesson or Crisco oil
- 2 1/2 oz. yeast
- 1 c. sugar
- 1/2 c. dry milk
- 2 tsp. salt
Directions

1Sprinkle yeast over warm water.

2Set aside.

3Mix flour, sugar, salt and dry milk together.

4Add oil to water, being sure yeast is dissolved.

5Add dry ingredients to liquid, mixing until it pulls away from sides of bowl or pan.

6Knead well and let rise until almost doubled in bulk.

7Punch down and let rise again.

8Roll out to desired thickness; cut with biscuit cutter or shape rolls by hand.

9Place on greased bread pan and let rise.

10Bake at 400° until golden brown.

11This makes about 8 dozen rolls.

12You may make part of dough into loaves.

13Bake in loaf pans.

14Spread with fresh butter.
