  • 1 c. Shortening
  • 3/4 c. Sugar
  • 2 tsp. Salt
  • 2 Eggs, slightly beaten
  • 1 c. Mashed Potatoes
  • 1 pkg. Yeast dissolved in one c. of warm water
  • 1 c. Milk, scalded
  • 6 c. self-rising Flour

Directions

    Mix shortening, sugar and salt together.

    Add other ingredients in order given.

    Mix well after each and pour into floured surface.

    Work in more flour in dough until you can pick up without sticking to hands.

    Place in large bowl and place in refrigerator over night.

    Next morning knead dough and roll out. Bake at 400 degrees.
