- 2 pkg. yeast
- 1/2 c. water
- 1/2 c. sugar
- 1 tsp. salt
- 3/4 c. milk, scalded
- 2 eggs
- 4 c. flour
- 1/2 c. butter (optional)
Directions

1Mix all ingredients and let rise in warm place.

2Push down and let rise again.

3Shape into patterns (twists, circles, etc.) and put on cookie sheets.

4May dip in melted butter prior to putting on baking sheet.

5Preheat oven to 375°.

6Bake for 10 to 11 minutes.
