- 1/2 c. Crisco lard (has to be vegetable lard)
- 2/3 c. sugar
- 1 tsp. salt
- 2 c. water
- 4 eggs, slightly beaten
- 3 pkg. powdered yeast
- flour
Directions

1Boil lard, sugar, salt and water until dissolved.

2Let cool to lukewarm.

3Add yeast and make sure it is completely dissolved. Add eggs and make sure the eggs are room temperature.

4Then add flour, 2 cups at a time until the dough doesn't stick to hands. Let set in bowl for half an hour.

5Then grease cookie sheet and make into roll and set another 1/2 hour.

6Make sure to cover the rolls when they set.

7No breeze should blow on them.

8Bake at 400° for 10 minutes or until golden brown.

9Makes 45 rolls.

10From start to finish takes about 2 hours.
