- 2 cups dried peas
- 12 lb pork spareribs, cut in pieces with bone
- 1 onion, chopped
- 1 teaspoon salt
Directions

1Soak peas 2 to 3 hours overnight.

2Retaining soaking water, add pork and onion.

3Bring to a boil, cover.

4Reduce heat to a simmer and cook about 4 hours.

5Add salt to taste.

6Remove pork bones and serve hot.
