Ingredients
- 1 c. hot water
- 1/2 c. sugar
- 1/2 c. shortening
- 3 tsp. salt
- 1 c. warm water
- 2 pkg. dry yeast
- 2 eggs, slightly beaten
- 6 c. flour
Directions

1Combine first 4 ingredients; let shortening soften.

2Cool to lukewarm.

3Combine warm water and yeast.

4Let set until yeast is dissolved.

5Add eggs.

6Combine with other liquid.

7Add 3 cups of the flour; mix well.

8Add remaining 3 cups of the flour and stir until well mixed.

9Cover with plastic wrap and store in refrigerator until well chilled.

10Make rolls as desired and let rise until double in bulk.

11Bake at 375° for 12 to 15 minutes. This dough will keep in the refrigerator for 2 to 4 days.
