- 1 pkg. dry yeast
- 3/4 c. scalded milk
- 1/3 c. shortening
- 1/2 c. cooked, mashed potatoes
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1/4 c. sugar
- 1 egg
Directions

1Put sugar, Crisco and salt into bowl.

2Add warm mashed potatoes and mix.

3Add egg to warm milk.

4Mix together.

5Add yeast 1 pint flour.

6Gradually add to mixture.

7Beat well as you mix. Add enough flour to knead.

8Let rise until double in bulk.

9Mash down and place in refrigerator until needed.

10Bake at 450° for about 10 minutes.
