- 2 tsp. shortening
- 1 c. warm water
- 4 c. self-rising flour
- 2 tsp. sugar
- 1 pkg. yeast
Directions

1Dissolve yeast in warm water.

2Mix all ingredients together. Put in greased bowl and cover with wet cloth.

3Let rise double, about 1 1/2 hours.

4Knead and form into your favorite shape rolls. Let rise about 1 hour.

5Bake at 350° until done.
