- 1 pkg. yeast
- 1/4 c. warm water
- 1 tsp. salt
- 6 c. flour
- 2 eggs, slightly beaten
- 1/2 c. sugar
- 1/2 c. shortening
- 2 c. warm water
Directions

1Dissolve yeast in the 1/4 cup warm water.

2Cream sugar and shortening together; add eggs, yeast, salt and water.

3Mix well, then add flour, cup by cup.

4Let dough rise until double in size, then knead down.

5Shape into rolls or loaves.

6Let rise again until double in size.

7Bake until done.
