- 1 pkg. dry yeast
- 1/4 c. warm water
- 1 c. butter (1/2 shortening and 1/2 butter)
- 4 3/4 c. flour
- 2 slightly beaten eggs
- 1 c. milk
- 1/4 c. sugar
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 5 Tbsp. melted butter
Directions

1Soften yeast in water.

2Cut cutter into 3 cups flour; blend in eggs milk, sugar, salt and yeast.

3Gradually add remaining flour. Mix well after each addition.

4Cover and chill 2 to 3 hours. Divide in 4 parts; roll out to 10-inch circle.

5Brush with melted butter.

6Cut in pie shaped wedges.

7Start with wide edge and roll up.

8Place on greased baking sheet.

9Let rise until double.

10Bake at 375° for 15 to 18 minutes.
