- 1 c. hot water
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1/4 c. sugar
- 8 Tbsp. cooking oil
- 1 pkg. dry yeast
- 2 Tbsp. lukewarm water
- 1 egg, well beaten
- 3 1/2 c. flour
Directions

1Combine hot water, salt, sugar and oil.

2Cool to lukewarm. Add beaten eggs.

3Dissolve yeast in the 2 tablespoons warm water and add to the first mixture.

4Stir in enough flour to mix well; beat well and then add enough flour until dough is easy to handle. Turn on floured board and knead.

5Place in a bowl; allow to rise until dough has doubled in bulk.

6Make into rolls.

7Brush with melted butter.

8Let rise in a warm place.

9Bake 12 to 15 minutes at 400°.
