Ingredients

  • 2 pkg. yeast
  • 1 c. Crisco
  • 1/2 c. sugar
  • 2 1/2 c. warm water
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 c. instant milk powder
  • 8 c. self-rising flour

Directions

    Mix yeast with warm water and let stand.

    Cream eggs and shortening.

    Mix flour, sugar and milk powder.

    Add water to egg mixture, then add flour mixture.

    When mixed well, put a piece of waxed paper over top of mixing bowl and set a plate on top.

    Leave in refrigerator overnight.

    Roll out and let set to rise about 2 hours.

    Bake at 400° for 10 to 15 minutes.

    This makes about 48 rolls.

    Bake and store in freezer.

    Take out and use as needed. Reheat in oven.
