- 1 pkg. yeast
- 1 tsp. sugar
- 1/4 c. warm water
- 2 c. milk
- 1/2 c. sugar
- 1/4 c. shortening
- 2 tsp. salt
- 2 eggs, beaten
- 7 c. flour
Directions

1Dissolve yeast in warm water.

2Beat egg; add to yeast and water 1 teaspoon sugar; set aside.

3Mix oil, water, sugar, milk and salt together; add to yeast mixture and mix.

4Add flour 2 cups at a time until bouncie.

5Put in lightly oiled pan; let rise until doubled in bulk or size.

6Knead lightly and make into rolls.

7Let rise 2 to 3 hours.

8Put in warm place.

9Do not set over pilot light as they will rise too fast.

10Bake at 400° for 15 minutes.

11Brush with butter and brown.
