  • 2 c. milk
  • 1/2 c. cornmeal
  • 1/2 c. butter
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 2 pkg. yeast
  • 1/2 c. warm water
  • 3 eggs, beaten
  • 3 c. flour
  • 1/2 c. sugar

Directions

    Cook milk and corn meal (can be white or yellow) until thick. Add butter, sugar and salt.

    Dissolve yeast in warm water and let stand for 20 minutes.

    Then add eggs and flour.

    Combine with cornmeal mixture and add enough additional flour (3 to 3 1/2 cups) until a soft bun mix.
