- -3/4 cup moong daal
- -0.5 tsp salt
Directions

1- Take moong daal, wash it and take out the stones

2-Boil it in water (2-3 cups) 1/2 hour and cover lid of sufuriya and cover lid and leave half open
-
3-(separately) take oil, add onions and add salt so fry till they become golden brown
-
4- add garlic and ginger and kari ka patta, mix and fry till you get aroma
-
5- Add 1tsp cumin (jeera) powder,dhania powder and chilli powder to taste and 1tsp haldi
-
6- Add tomato puree :fry this and then add tomato, after has been fried then add little water.

7- When daal is ready add to this and boil.

8- Add jalapeno and dhania for garnishing

9- sprinkle garam masala powder at the end (0.5 tsp) and squeeze some lemon
