  • 2 strips crisp bacon
  • 1 medium chopped bell pepper
  • 2 medium chopped tomatoes
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 2 c. uncooked rice
  • 1 Tbsp. egg coloring
  • 2 medium onions, chopped
  • dash of black pepper

Directions

    Mix together bacon, bell pepper, onions and tomatoes.

    Cook in bacon drippings for five minutes.

    Add rest of ingredients (rice, coloring, salt and black pepper).

    Cover with 1 quart of water. Stir together.

    Cook until done.
