- 1/2 c. oil
- 1 cut up frying chicken
- 1 chopped onion
- 2 cloves minced garlic
- 1 chopped green pepper
- 3/4 c. tomatoes
- 2 1/2 c. water
- 1 bay leaf
- 1 envelope Vego flavoring
- 1 c. raw rice
- pepper to taste
- salt to taste
- 1 can English peas
Directions

1Heat oil in pan.

2Add meat and brown well on both sides.

3Add onion, garlic and pepper.

4Cook 5 minutes.

5Add tomatoes and water.

6Cook 5 minutes.

7Stir in bay leaf, Vego and rice.

8Cover and bake at 350° for 20 minutes or until tender.
