- 3 to 4 medium size squash
- 2 to 3 medium onions
- 3 Tbsp. bacon drippings
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 1/4 tsp. pepper (black)
Directions

1Wash and cut off ends of squash.

2Put drippings in frying pan. Add squash, onions, salt and pepper.

3Cook, covered, slowly as steam tenders squash. Remove cover from pan and allow excess water to slowly dry up. Remove from heat and serve.

4Yields 2 to 3 servings.
