- 4 c. flour
- 2 c. sugar
- 4 tsp. baking powder
- 1 c. melted butter or margarine
- 1 c. yoghurt
- 4 eggs
- 2 tsp. vanilla
- the grind of 1 lemon
Directions

1Beat eggs, yoghurt, butter or margarine and vanilla.

2Add baking powder, lemon rind and sugar.

3Mix well for 5 minutes.

4Add flour to the mixture.

5Pour batter in a well-greased cake pan; bake at 350° for 45 minutes in a well preheated oven.

6Cool for 15 minutes before you unmold.

7Sprinkle powdered sugar, if desired.
