Ingredients

  • 2 1/2 c. flour
  • 3/4 c. sugar
  • 2 tsp. soda
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1/2 c. margarine
  • 1 c. plain yogurt (room temperature)
  • 2 eggs, slightly beaten
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 1 1/2 c. blueberries (fresh or frozen), thawed and drained (optional)
  • raisins or jam (optional)

Directions

    Sift all dry ingredients.

    Cut in margarine until crumbly. Mix yogurt, eggs and vanilla. Add to dry ingredients.

    Mix only until moistened.

    Bake at 375° to 400° for 12 to 15 minutes or until golden brown.
