Ingredients

  • 1 lb. ground meat
  • 1 Tbsp. chopped parsley
  • pinch of pepper
  • 4 eggs
  • 2 Tbsp. oleo, melted
  • 1 tsp. baking powder
  • 1 pkg. dry onion soup mix
  • 2 Tbsp. picante sauce
  • 1 c. milk
  • 1 c. flour
  • 1/2 tsp. salt

Directions

    Combine meat, soup mix, parsley, pepper and picante sauce in bowl.

    Stir well.

    Stir in one well beaten egg.

    Shape into 24 balls.

    Place in greased 8-inch square baking dish.

    Beat 3 eggs until foamy.

    Mix in milk and oleo.

    Add dry ingredients. Beat at low speed until smooth.

    Pour over meatballs.

    Bake at 350° for 45 to 50 minutes or until brown.
