- 3/4 c. flour
- 3/4 c. milk
- 1 egg
- enough pan drippings to cover bottom of pie plate easily (from roast beef)
- pinch of salt
- pinch of pepper
Directions

1Preheat oven to 450°.

2Mix flour, milk and egg until blended. Beat until smooth. Add salt and pepper.

3Put pie plate on top shelf (allowing 4-inch clearance for pudding to rise).

4Pour drippings into glass pie plate.

5Pour batter into pie plate slowly.

6Push in rack slowly.

7Bake for approximately 20 minutes or until pudding has risen and has lightly browned.

8Serve with roast beef and top with gravy.
