Ingredients
- 1 1/2 c. flour
- 1 tsp. salt
- 2 c. milk
- 2 eggs
- 1/4 c. hot beef drippings or melted butter
Directions

1Sift the flour and salt into a bowl.

2Make a well in the center

3and pour in the milk.

4Stir in the milk.

5Beat until fluffy and add the eggs. Beat the batter until large bubbles rise to the surface.

6Let this stand, covered, and refrigerated at least 1 hour and then beat it again.

7Preheat the oven to 400°. Have ready a hot ovenproof dish, about 9 x 13-inches, containing the hot beef drippings or melted butter.

8Pour in the batter.

9It should be about 1/2-inch high. Bake the pudding about 20 minutes. Reduce the heat to 350° and bake about 10 minutes longer.

10Serve at once.
