Ingredients

  • 1 pkg. yeast, dissolved in 1 c. warm water
  • 1/2 c. evaporated milk, mixed with 1/2 c. warm water
  • 1/4 c. oil
  • 1/4 c. sugar
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1 egg, beaten
  • 6 c. bread flour

Directions

    Dissolve yeast in warm water.

    Add evaporated milk that has been mixed with warm water.

    Then add oil, sugar, salt and egg. Mix well and add bread flour.

    Cover with wax paper and towel. Let rise until double (1 to 1 1/2 hours).

    Knead well and make out into rolls 1/2-inch thick.

    Dip in melted butter.

    Place on pan and let rise 1 1/2 hours.

    Bake at 425° for 10 to 12 minutes.
