  • 1 egg
  • 2 c flour
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1 c milk
  • 1 pkg. yeast

Directions

    Heat milk. Do not boil. Dissolve yeast in milk. Beat egg first then add to milk. Add flour 1/2 cup at a time. Add salt. Mix well with wooden spoon until very smooth. Cover well. Put in warm place and let rise. Knead. Let rise again. Pull away from pot. Dip fingers in oil to take chunks. Fry in very hot corn oil.
