  • 1 (10 oz.) jar apple jelly
  • several dashes bottled hot pepper sauce
  • 1 (16 oz.) pkg. hot dogs or cocktail wieners
  • 1 1/2 c. frozen small whole onions

    For Sauce:

    In a small saucepan, combine beer and cornstarch, then stir in barbecue sauce, apple jelly and hot pepper sauce. Cook and stir until thickened and bubbly. Then cook and stir for 2 minutes more.
