- 3/4 lb. ground beef
- 1/2 c. chopped onion
- 1 pt. tomato sauce
- 1/2 tsp. oregano
- 1/2 tsp. basil
- salt and pepper
- 4 zucchini (about 8-inches long)
- 8 oz. cottage cheese
- 1 egg
- 1/2 lb. Mozzarella, grated
- grated Parmesan cheese
Directions

1Brown beef and onion; drain fat.

2Add seasonings and tomato sauce and simmer 10 minutes.

3Slice zucchini lengthwise into 1/4-inch slices and arrange the slices in an 8 x 12-inch baking dish.

4Sprinkle lightly with salt.

5Beat cottage cheese and egg together and spread on the zucchini.

6Top with half the sauce and cheese.

7Sprinkle with Parmesan.

8Bake at 350° for 40 minutes or until tender.
